Hey there! Let me introduce myself. I am Pamela Kingsley Seay and I live in beautiful Southern Indiana. Course I was raised in Tennessee, near the magnificent Smokey Mountains. I spent my summers on a farm in Middle Tennessee and even went to college there. While at Tennessee Tech University I met my husband, Bill, who is from West Tennesse. We married and moved (in the same week practically) to Georgia where I began to paint. The first time I held a paint brush I knew I was hooked. Growing up and living in such beautiful surroundings with a love of nature I can’t help but want to paint it all. I began with oils and folk art, then added acrylics, now have discovered watercolors. I am fascinated by the little things, so my watercolors are full of life and details. The folk art helps me connect with the past and my admiration of history. I come from a melting pot of heritage, German, English, Irish, and French ancestors came to this great country full of hopes and dreams.
I have a dream I’ll share with you, and that is that I want to go to Alaska and stay in a cabin in Denali Park (part of an art exchange program) where I can photograph and paint in that amazing backdrop. I spent a couple of weeks there for my 3oth wedding anniversary and was so impressed with the scenery and animals that I feel a strong pull to go back. Keep your fingers crossed and your thoughts and prayers headed my way.
In the meantime enjoy the scenery in your world and welcome to mine!
